The department also provides an enabling environment for the faculty members to contribute their best in a synergistic manner in order to improve the teaching-learning process and to enhance the research activities in the institute. The institute encourages the faculty members and provides them the opportunities to actively participate in conferences, seminars and workshops at national and international level. The faculty members have contributed their expertise to carry out the research in different field of Engineering. COMPUTER SOCIETY OF INDIA
- Computer Society of India is the first and largest body of computer professionals in India. It was started on 6 March 1965 by a few computer professionals and has now grown to be the national body representing computer professionals. It has 71 chapters across India, 418 student branches, and more than 90,000 members. The Computer Society of India is a non-profit professional meet to exchange views and information learn and share ideas. The wide spectrum of members is committed to the advancement of theory and practice of Computer Engineering and Technology Systems, Science and Engineering, Information Processing and related Arts and Sciences.
Many competitions, workshops and seminars organized by department to upgrade skills of students and teachers under the banner of Computer Society of India.
